Dr. Robin Hupet

Dr. Robin Hupet is a specialist in gynecology and obstetrics. A graduate of the Université Libre de Bruxelles, he completed a significant portion of his specialist training in Switzerland—at the CHUV in Lausanne, Sion Hospital, Fribourg Cantonal Hospital, and Pourtalès Hospital in Neuchâtel—and holds the FMH specialist title in gynecology and obstetrics. He practices at CHU Brugmann (Brussels), where he runs the menopause clinic and provides consultations in breast health (senology).
Dr. Hupet has developed expertise in the management of menopause and perimenopause, including: hormonal and non-hormonal treatments for menopause; genitourinary syndrome of menopause; early menopause; menopause induced by surgery or cancer treatment; and the prevention of osteoporosis and cardiovascular risk. He also manages benign and malignant breast conditions and performs minimally invasive gynecological surgery via laparoscopy and hysteroscopy. He provides general gynecological care but does not offer prenatal or obstetric care (pregnancy monitoring or deliveries).
Dr. Hupet holds GESEA Level 1 and 2 certifications (Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgery) from the European Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy.
Dr. Hupet is active in clinical research. He is a co-first author of a study comparing laparoscopy and laparotomy for complex and multiple myomectomies, published in *Discover Medicine* (Springer Nature, 2025).
