Here he is among the multidisciplinary team of the Araucaria Medical Center.
\nThanks to a meticulous approach, these osteopathy sessions are focused on the various neuro-musculoskeletal complaints of the patient (whether axially at the lumbar, cervical or thoracic level, or even peripheral with complaints of the appendicular skeleton). Pier-Luigi Cianci specializes in the care of adults, adolescents and athletes of all levels. He carried out his end-of-study work on the management and biomechanics of the sacroiliac joint and low back pain. Principles of osteopathy<\/h3>\n

According to this discipline, any loss of mobility of muscles, joints, viscera or even ligaments can impact the state of health by causing an imbalance. Thus, osteopathy is based on the body’s ability to balance itself.<\/p>\n

This domain is based on three concepts:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • recognition of the wholeness of the individual,<\/li>\n
  • the hand: as a tool for analysis and care,<\/li>\n
  • and finally the principle of tissue balance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Thus, it requires a thorough knowledge of the human body and internal interactions.<\/p>\n

    Pathologies treated<\/h3>\n

    This discipline makes it possible to treat many pathologies linked to the different systems of the human body:<\/p>\n

    • diseases of the neuro-vegetative system: depression, anxiety, hypernervosity, and stress (etc.)<\/li>\n
    • digestive system disorders: bloating, flatulence, hiatal hernia, constipation, difficult digestion and gastric acidity (etc.)<\/li>\n
    • pathologies of the orthopedic and musculoskeletal system: tendonitis, sprains, low back pain, joint pain, scoliosis and jaw pain (etc.)<\/li>\n
    • pathologies of the ENT system: dizziness, rhinitis, sinusitis, buzzing and migraines (etc.)<\/li>\n
    • diseases of the neurological system: cervico-brachial neuralgia, intercostal or even facial neuralgia (etc.)<\/li>\n
